How Singapore GST is calculated
Adding GST: multiply the net price by 1.09. A SGD 100 item becomes SGD 109.00 once 9% GST is added.
Removing GST: divide the GST-inclusive total by 1.09. From SGD 109.00 inclusive, the net is SGD 100 and the GST portion is SGD 9.00.
