Terms of Service

These Terms govern your use of meraSaaS ("we", "us"). By using meraSaaS, you agree to these Terms.

1. The service

meraSaaS provides a set of small utility tools (the "Tools"). Every Tool is free to use and no account is required to use one. Most Tools process your files in your browser; some generate documents (invoices, receipts) from inputs you supply. An optional account gives you a private workspace to save results and projects.

2. Pro subscription & billing

• The Tools are free. meraSaaS Pro is an optional plan ($7 / month) that increases your workspace storage and unlocks future premium persistence/publishing features. It does not gate any Tool.
• Subscriptions automatically renew at the end of each billing period at the then-current price unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the renewal date.
• Billing is handled by Stripe. You can cancel any time from the customer portal. When you cancel, Pro remains active until the end of the current billing period, then your account returns to the free tier.
• Pro fees are non-refundable. We do not provide refunds, credits, or prorated charges for partial billing periods, unused time, or features you choose not to use.
• Prices and plan limits may change with at least 30 days' notice. Existing subscribers keep their current price until the next renewal after notice; changes to future-plan quotas do not reduce storage during a period you have already paid for.
• If a renewal payment fails, Stripe will retry the charge over a period of several days. If payment cannot be collected, the account returns to the free tier.
• EU / UK consumers: by starting Pro, you expressly request that it be made available immediately, and you acknowledge that you lose your statutory right of withdrawal (including the 14-day cooling-off period under EU Directive 2011/83/EU and equivalent UK regulations) once the Service begins to be supplied.

3. Permitted use

• Personal and commercial use are both allowed, subject to these Terms.
• Do not resell or white-label meraSaaS itself as a service without our permission.
• Do not use meraSaaS as a general file-hosting or CDN service, run abusive or high-volume automated uploads, or attempt to bypass storage quotas or per-file limits.
• Do not use the workspace to store or distribute malware, pirated material, or unlawful content, or to produce fraudulent, misleading, or unlawful documents.

4. Workspace & storage

• Saving is optional. Files and projects you save are private to your account by default.
• Accounts have a storage quota and a per-file size limit that depend on your plan. We enforce these; uploads that would exceed your quota are rejected.
• Downgrade: if you cancel Pro while storing more than the free tier allows, your account returns to free at the end of the paid period. Existing files remain downloadable, but you cannot save new files until you delete enough to return under the limit or upgrade again.
• We may restrict or remove storage that violates these Terms.
• meraSaaS is not a backup service. Keep your own copy of anything important. We are not liable for lost or deleted files.

5. No professional advice

The Tools, particularly calculators, document templates, and any AI-assisted output, are conveniences, not professional advice. They are not legal, tax, financial, immigration, accounting, or safety advice. Always verify document specs (e.g. passport photos) and current rates with the relevant authority. You are responsible for the accuracy of anything you submit to a third party.

6. Availability

We aim for high availability but do not guarantee uninterrupted service. We may modify, replace, or retire individual Tools over time; access is to the toolkit as it exists, not to any specific Tool in perpetuity.

7. Termination

You may cancel any time. We may suspend or terminate accounts for violation of these Terms (including abusive or unlawful use) with notice unless immediate action is required.

8. Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, our total liability for any claim related to the Services is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months preceding the claim. We are not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages.

9. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of Singapore. Disputes are subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the Singapore courts.
