Privacy Policy

This privacy notice for meraSaaS ("we", "us", or "our") describes how and why we might collect, store, use, and share information when you use meraSaaS (the "Services").

The short version: our tools do their work in your browser. Running a tool does not upload your file. Saving is optional — only when you choose Save to meraSaaS is the selected result stored in your private workspace, and you can delete it any time. Where a tool uses AI, the AI runs locally in your browser, so your document or image is not sent to a cloud AI provider.

1. What we collect

• Account data: name, email, and profile image we receive from Google when you sign in.
• Billing data: Stripe stores your payment method and subscription state. We store your Stripe customer ID and subscription status. We never see your card details.
• Tool inputs (not uploaded): the files and form data you process with our tools are handled in your browser to run the tool. We do not receive or store them for processing. Any AI a tool uses runs locally in your browser; your content is not sent to an external AI model.
• Saved files (only if you choose Save): when you click Save to meraSaaS, the selected output is uploaded to your private workspace, stored as an object in Cloudflare R2. Objects are private by default and accessible only to you. We store metadata (filename, type, size, timestamp) in our database.
• Projects & profile: if you save a project or fill in a reusable profile (personal, business, or machine details), that structured data is stored in our database to power the workspace. It is private to your account.
• Server logs: standard request logs (IP, user agent, timestamp) retained for up to 30 days for abuse detection.

2. How we use it

• To authenticate you and give you access to the tools.
• To process subscription payments via Stripe and let you manage billing.
• To respond to support email.
• To maintain and improve the Services.

3. Sub-processors

We rely on the following providers. Each handles your data under its own privacy policy.

• Google: authentication via OAuth.
• Stripe: payments and subscription management.
• Neon: managed Postgres for account, project, and file metadata.
• Cloudflare R2: private object storage for files you choose to save.
• Vercel: hosting and request logging.

4. Your rights

You control your saved data directly: delete any saved file or project from your workspace at any time, which removes it from storage. You can also request access to, correction of, or deletion of your account data by emailing hello@merasaas.com. Deleting your account removes your record and your saved files and projects from our systems; Stripe keeps payment records as required by financial regulations. meraSaaS is not a backup service — keep your own copy of anything important.

5. Cookies

We set a session cookie when you sign in and a Stripe Checkout cookie during payment. We do not use third-party advertising or behavioural tracking cookies.

6. Children

The Services are not directed to children under 13. We do not knowingly collect data from children.

7. Changes

We will update the "Last updated" date at the top of this page when this policy changes.
